PTS Coating Symposium: A New Concept for the Anniversary

The BMW-Welt as a particularly attractive venue and a new concept will make the 25th PTS Coating Symposium on 14 – 17 September 2011 even more appealing to participants and exhibitors.

The first two conference days on 14 and 15 September 2011 are dedicated to recent results from research and technology and their implementation into industrial applications. Innovations in coating technology will take centre stage in these sessions – from raw materials to printing. Renowned experts from science and industry will present interesting approaches to the design of new products, efficient use of resources and improvements in manufacturing processes and product quality.

The third conference day will be a special highlight: Top-flight speakers from the paper industry, the automobile industry and NGOs will provide insights into future strategies of our industry.

A ceremonial act marking the 60th anniversary of PTS will follow after the lectures to complete this conference day. Look forward for the keynote address „German energy policy in a European context“
from H.-L. Papier, Professor at LMU Munich, former President of the German Federal Constitutional Court.

On Saturday, 17 September 2011 you will be able to witness how innovations are pushed forward at the VESTRA pilot coater of PTS – leaving plenty of time afterwards to visit the Oktoberfest, of course.

Lectures of the first conference day will be presented at the Holiday Inn Hotel Munich City Centre in Munich. After the lectures, attendees will be transferred to the BMW Welt for the traditional „Symposium party“ in the exhibition area.

New flexible ticket offers

Fees for the complete event have remained unchanged at 1,410 €, but the all-inclusive ticket offers a special plus – it is now transferable. Employees belonging to the same company location can take turns attending at the various conference days.

The ticket for the first two days focusing on research, technology and operations costs 1,180 €.

Anyone wishing to take part in the sessions on strategic issues and the ceremonial act on day three only can book this day separately for 790 €.
